Power cuts in Bansko

I am going to be in Bansko next week and I cant wait!. I have been looking at the webcam every day, several times every hour when I am near a PC really if Im honest, and i have noticed that the webcam has been off over night on a number of occasions. Is this just a computer problem or is Bansko having one of the power cuts that were predicted for this season because of the additional loading on its services infrastrucure. It would be really good to know about this b4 I leave the UK so I can ...

I live in Bansko and we have not had any power cuts, they may be doing some work and switch off the webcam
Bring candles if you like but they do sell them here!!!

whats the snow like? do u think the village run will be open on the 12th?

Hi Tom.

just back from Bansko and the village run was open then...the top was actually excellent fun ( as a boarder) but the bottom involved a lot of walking. OK for skiers, but that boarding hop gets real tiring!
