It's warning up and half the runs are closed on the Rila. basically they are bald or worse! The ones that are open have got snow makers but today it was all turning to slush and you can see the dirt coming though. A couple more days and I tink we will be struggling ... especially if it rains as it says it will on Wednesday. If the dump does not come on Thursday they are predicting next week wont be much fun!Sorry to be negative but its always good to know what to prepare for I guess

Conditions have gone from bad to worse now.... 15 degrees at the Rila 3 days ago and raining every day since it has lost so much. I did the one run open at the Rila yesterday and there is about and inch to two inches of solid ice in the morning. In the afternoon EVERYONE was coming down on their backsides almost.
Went up the Yestrebetz Express and 2 runs open but blue ice til 1pm then slush. They did open the gondola yesterday in the end and the snow up the top is great but they shut it ...

Today there is solid rain at the bottom and the Gondola is shut. Water running down the streets and on the slopes from halfway down most of it has gone and alot of the base layer.
Might be an idea for anyone coming to pack your water skis and wake boards

Is the gondola included when you buy a lift pass for boro or is it a public service they open and close when they want? Seems to be the latter.re: Praying For Snow In Boro
Its included in the pass but they open and close it as the wind changes .... litterally!!!! Been shut 2 days out of the 6 here nearly.The problem is they alway leave the yestrebetz express open so you cant claim anything back. Yesterday there were more people coming down on it than going up due to the poor conditions. says it all really!!!
