Hello again folks,

My mates and I are getting prepared for our first trip to Bansko on the 20th. It'll be my first snowboarding holiday combined with the start of my 40th birthday celebrations Booze and in order to get things sorted as smoothly as possible, I'm trying to get everything booked in advance.

So accomodation is sorted, flights are sorted and Steve C from this very board is transferring us from Sofia to Bansko and back (cheers for that), which only really leaves our lift passes to arrange. I've hunted around on t'internet and finding a definitive price is a bit tricky, as most places seem to package the lift pass in with hotel bookings. I have however managed to find a place , Bansko Tourist Information that offers a prebooked 6 day pass for € 138 which seems like a fair enough price to me. Can anyone tell me if that's about right?

Cheers for any advice / info

Craig

re: Pre-booked Lift Pass

Craig, have you contacted Lance at Banskoblog to see if he can sort out a cheaper lift pass?

re: Pre-booked Lift Pass

Bansko Tourist Information sold us passes and was kind enough to deliver them to our apartment complex, they also have an office close to the gondola, I found them to be very helpful and they gave us some great advise about the local area, I will definitely use them again, Im wary to buy from websites which seem to have no office locally, we all know how easy it is to get ripped off in eastern europe

Thanks Chris, that's pretty much the answer I was hoping for, although I have no idea how easy it is to be ripped off in Easter Europe. The furthest East I've been recently was Aberdeen! Razz
