Pre booked ski carriage

Santa brought me new skis & a Bag for Christmas. Ingams want £30 to pre book them (£15 carriage & £15 admin fee, cause our tickets have already been issued) it's £20 if I don't prebook and pay at airport check in but no guarantee they will be able to accept them. Is it worth taking a chance and not pre booking????

re: Pre booked ski carriage

Personally I'd pre-book, but then I'm not a gambler(only £17 with Balkan for skis and boots)

re: Pre booked ski carriage

Thanks Clive, I was hoping to put all my ski gear in my bag as well. Suppose if it comes to it and they won't take them I could stash my skis with sombody elses and buy a holdall for my gear at the airport. Seems a lot of bother.

Suppose I should just pay the £30.

re: Pre booked ski carriage

Off to Borovets on 20th. 35 in our group.
Inghams are £15 prebooked £20 at check in. They just won't guarantee that there will be room for them if they are not prebooked. I'll prob take the chance anyway.
You skiing this year?>

re: Pre booked ski carriage

Hi Jo, last year I took skis at the last minute. I got to the airport early to check in and paid £20 at the inghams desk, they gave me a voucher to check the skis in. No problem with checking them in that day, I would take the chance!!
