I am not a Dr but in my opinion you are taking a very stupid risk. If you have not told you insurance company you details may well be void. Hospitals in Bulgaria are not the same as they are here. Have you thought of what would happen if you take a nasty fall? I would urge you to think long and hard about the risk you are taking as it could end up being the worst decision you have ever made.

Well, I am a doctor and I don't see why you should get worried so early in the pregnancy. If you need some medication, you will be able to buy it, but any doctor will tell you to avoid medication in the first 3 months anyway. You need to check your insurance, as suggested by Daniel, I don't know how it works. Whether you are safe skiing or snowboarding in the 3rd month, well I don't really know, at some point during the pregnancy it will certainly be not advisable. Why not ask your GP about ...

My guess is that at 3 months the baby is too small to react to even a nasty fall, but when exactly it becomes a risk, I am not sure.

re: Pregnant

First, let me apologize for my bad english (I'm french...)

Well, 17 years ago, I had a nasty fall while skiing. I was pregnant (5 months). No problem with the baby : he's now a very good snowboarder (much better than me)

Have good time !

re: Pregnant

I am also pregnant but i am not skiing as advised by my GP in the first three months he said baby is sooo small you can carry on with normal activitys but after that one fall could damage the baby and you wouldnt know!!!!!!
I personally dont think its worth the risk. I was very exited about going and after all the cost i have got my self some good books, MP3, and a Portable DVD player....oh you will see me drinking all the tea in the day singing to my self looking rather sad!!!
