A few of my friends came out to Borovets last year and said the skiing and snowboarding jackets are really cheap (£60 for a decent one), does anyone know if they still are or is worth just going somewhere like TKMaxx and buying one beforehand?
Not sure tkmax sell them. I've had some nice lamb in bulgaria but haven't seen goat on the menu. Not sure i'd be keen on it anyway. If you insist on going ahead with your purchase i'd say buy in bulgaria to save on the baggage allowance. I think it should be cooked for a long time over a low heat to tenderise it.
TKmaxx have a huge selection. With the rate of the pound and the escalation in Bulgarian prices over the last few years it would be much cheaper through the TKmaxx route.
However if youre looking for a "designer" ski jacket you will be able to get good fakes in bulgaria at probably about two thrids of the price of an authentic one here or from a reputable source
TK maxx all the way, you can spend a £100 in there and get a complete mens outfits including jacket, salepettes, goggles, gloves, hats the lot. Its not sh*t either its designer wear just ex-season etc... There are 10 of us going Borovets on sat and we got all of our stuff from there. Oh yeah dont forget ski socks
