May be its because i'm old but I do seem to remember that when the pound was weak against the dollar tour companies charged extra on top of the holiday to cover for the cost of fuel (being priced in dollars) Over the last few months the dollar has fallen by nearly 30 % against the pound. Has anyone heard of Thomson or Nielsons, Crystal or any companies giving reduction?
cass, the charge for security is very minimal and that I understand goes mostly to our 'effective' Government
You are right though companies are quick to put prices up but they never seem to reduce, I also think with Bulgaria getting more popular that will increase the price, and has some comment the price in Bulgarian resorts as already gone up

I agree, I have no problem with the value for money of bulgariian resorts but this money is going striaght into the coffers of the big tour companies, and i bet they wont pass it on to the local people.
Cass I have booked with Balkan Holidays - not one of the big four. At the end of the day companies operate to make profit so it is justifiable that profit will be made
Hi Cass,
I've just booked for next year with Inghams (early- Bird Brou) and saved £50 per person, and only £45 deposit required until they release their new brou.
Balken holidays have changed their flight times this season which means you don't arrive into Sofia until 00.50!!!!! They didn't give us much warning either and then it was too later to change tour operators they were all full!!!!
Lets hope there are some boots left when we finally get up on Sunday!!!!
