Prices in Bansko

Hi all,

Im off to Bansko on Jan 20th, I've read a few posts saying the prices are not very cheap any more.

The last 2 years I've been to Boro and before that Pamps. All of which I would say the food and drink has been good value in most cases. In my experience the hotel prices for drinks have been high, but most of the taverna's have been cheap. Is this still the case with Bansko?

Cheers

Booze

re: Prices in Bansko

We went self catering last year and found the food and drink good. We gave our two teenage boys 20 levs each each day and they were able to eat and drink on the slopes and have supper in the town. If it has gone p to 30 levs it is still good value, but hopefully not. Compare that with France and we are getting a great deal. ski safe

You can still eat cheap in the town, as long as you stay away from the tourist traps, which are easily spotted.

The prices on the mountain have been increased this year.

re: Prices in Bansko

The prices in generaly at bansko depend from the language wich you speak! If you speak bulgarian then everything is very cheap! Otherwise you pay the same service in increased price Confused
