I'm coming to Bansko on Friday for a week. I used to snowboard but have swapped to skiing. I skied last year but didn't really make it off the ski road.
I have zero confidence and was wondering if there was anyone on this forum who could do a private lesson for me for a couple of days to get my confidence up again.
I'm not worried about the person being qualified, if there's a good skier out there who can pass a bit of knowledge and confidence on that's all I'm after ...
Hi All
I'm coming to Bansko on Friday for a week. I used to snowboard but have swapped to skiing. I skied last year but didn't really make it off the ski road.
I have zero confidence and was wondering if there was anyone on this forum who could do a private lesson for me for a couple of days to get my confidence up again.
I'm not worried about the person being qualified, if there's a good skier out there who can pass a bit of knowledge and confidence on that's all I'm after.
I am not a teacher, but I would be happy to help you, if you can ski the ski road, you are not bad. everything depends on conditions.
, you have to learn you on something , and the ski road is not always easy
Thanks for your reply! Do you live in Bansko? Don't want to be draging you away from your holiday! I just feel as though I infuriate the rest of the group especially my hubby!
Any help you can give will be greatly apprecaited and obviously will pay you for your time, name your price!
Not putting you off, but anyone who isnt an instructor may have bad habits or not, also they have no insurance to cover you , if you fall etc or cause you to have an injury from poor tuition
I coach for a living and insurance company would eat you alive if you tried to claim , and also Ulen dont like to see ppl self teaching ppl
By all means its your call , but be aware its not worth it
