Property hidden costs..

have two questions really...1. how much over and above the cost of the apartments is there to include in the final price? for the balkan ski chalets company it is approx £3000 for all furniture, and i was told about £380 solicitors and notary, then about 2% tax, is this correct?
2. has anyone hhad any dealings with link to .balkanskichalet.com ?

Hi yes I am buying my studio through balkanskichalets. Yes there are extra costs depending on what you want to do. If you want to let it then you have to get a rental furniture package that is good quality and complies with fire regs etc. I think mine worked out at about 4.5K in GPB. Their commission is about 5% I think. There are some more taxes although there is a nifty litle trick that is done with purchjase price entered on the final deed of sale which avoinds the VAT equivalent I think. ...

I have to confess that they all add up but you of course talking about percentages of not such a huge sum to start with. My lawyer's fee is only £350 euro's all told. Thats just over 200 quid - I am a lawyer in London and I can vouch that that doesn't buy you much legal work over here!!!
