Hey Pete,

I spoke to you a few weeks ago on here and I think you said you are staying at The Lion in Bansko from the 27th, the same as us.

I have been away for a few days so trying to catch up on the weather situation. Any news?

Not much change at the moment Jo - all resorts are suffering from a severe lack of snow and conditions are poor.

However, almost all long range forecasts are predicting heavy falls throughout Bulgaria from the 22nd Jan and falling right through until the 26th Jan.

Just in time for our arrival

I suppose all we can do is hope. I just feel for my mate who is going skiing for the first time ever, and I have been telling her for the last few months how fab skiing is.
