QUESTION FOR GABY

Hi Gaby

Great report, glad you enjoyed Pamps. Can you tell me if the Balkin ski equipment has been updated yet. I am going to moan if I end up with the old stuff again.

Sarah all equipment was updated last season. Apart from boots. I had some nice new carvers.

The equipment I used was very old in Feb 2004,boots and skis.

Just returned last week and my whole party - 8 of us had old boots, skis, and poles. All of us had to change boots at least twice due to ill fitting and bits falling off. I dont think my skis had been touched since last season. This was ski depot 1 at the Pamps ski school

Glad it's not only me concerned about old equipment. Is it only the Balkin Holiday equipment? If so I will have to change my plans for 2006.

The Inghams equipment was all new and very comfortable boots. my daughter actually swapped her own boots for the ski hire boots as they were better than hers.

Hi -
Yes, all the skiis and poles were brand spanking new - carvers - ORION brand. The boots were not new but mine were fine. Other people reported problems but boots were easily changed.

Last year we had terrible equipment in Borovets with Crystal - and I went to Pamps prepared to upgrade on the spot if it happened again but no need.

Yes we had a great time, but I will only pre book lift pass and hire equipment and lesson in resort, hope you have a great time
