Question 4 Hornster re ski locks

Hi Hornster,
Just bought skis this year so obviously don't want them to go missing - where did you get your lock from? Saw some in snow & rock but they looked as if they could easily be cut through.

You can buy them from most dedicated ski shops. I bought mine from Edge2Edge in Crawley. It's made by Dakine. You can buy them off the internet very easily as well.

Also, don't be fooled into thinking that just because the cable is thin that it is easy to cut through because the cable that they make it from is made up of many thinner cables which make it difficult to cut through with ordinary wire cutters.

Just google "Dakine Lock" or "Dakine Micro Lock" a lot of places are out of stock at the moment.

B&Q have really good retractable lock - ideal for ski/blades/boards for around £3-4
