Can you arrange for a web cam image at the gondola station in the village of Bansko,so we can all see if the ski road back to the village is open .Thanks.re: Question for Mrbulgariaski
Jon if it were only that simple.These webcams are linked via a mobile phone connection and are pretty expensive to run.
They are all sponsored by business people who advertise on this site and without their sponsorship there would be no cams.
It's not just a case of putting them up all over the country for free.

Maybe I can help. The short answers no, it's not open, though people have come down. If the rain we left behind is anything to go by it will be unpassable now. If you're on skis, and determined enough then you might, but you have to clear the river twice to do it (no bridges you see ol' boy) and very little snow. You might prove me wrong but my advice is don't bother.

Come down the gondola till it builds/firms up.
