need your advice? I have a large group of freinds heading out to Pamps for sat17th March, they tend to head this time every year - I have been twice before a few years back - snow was gret on both occasions.

I have not booked yet as was waiting on ok from work, I have now been told ok to go. I'm jsut concerned as the snow this year looks as bad as ever I have seen it in Pamps. What do you think? from your experience and friends in the know in Pamps, do you think its worth the risk going this year or maybe giving it a miss and booking for next year instead on earlier date?

Tough one to answer Dave as I dont control the weather and it's been so hit-and-miss this year that I find it difficult to advise you.

However, when I arrived on 2nd Feb conditions were much as they are today - dreadful. But on the morning of the 3rd it had all changed. Heavy snow overnight andf conditions were perfect.

If it were me, I would still go as I'm sure you have been looking forward to it for months - and the pending arrival of more snow over the next 24 hours may just be the fall that the resort so desperately needs.

It's true that this years snow is about as bad as it has ever been in living memory - but I'm sure there is still a big fall to come - and if you decide not to go - boy would you not then be even more disappointed if it arrived and you missed out
