Hi PeteIts 5 years since I last came on here and god doesn't time fly by. Its our 5th time skiing in bulgaria, we have been to all three resorts and we are trying Pamps again on the 26th December. We usually go Feb/March so just wondered what the snow was like around christmas.
Also, is it still reasonably proced for drinks etc. The first time we went to Borovets was 16 years ago and we couldnt spend our moneyin those days LOL oh the good times eh.

Tough questions Karen as no two years seem to be the same anymore in Bulgaria. My only experience of being there over Xmas was 2 years ago and it was a complete disaster! We only skied for about 1 hour the whole week due to the lack of snow. Last year we went late March and the snow was fantastic and it does appear that the season has shifted somewhat in Pamporovo. Having said that there is no reason why this change may well reverse this year and ...

Prices have rises steadily since your last visit and you will probably pay double to what you paid on your last visit, but still much cheaper than most of Europe in compasison.
