RE: Hotel Prespa, pamps fao suz

Hey suz

we stayed at the prespa... its only flaw is that it is at the top of a hill! The walk up after a days skiing is sometimes a little daunting. In relation to the Perelik... when you take the short walk (prob 1-2minutes) down the hill from prespa you come to the Mourgavets... the Perelik is connected to this hotel via a walkway.

The prespa is in an ideal location really, staff are friendly and it is clean... we'll have no doubts about staying there again

Enjoy your hols Cool

The bus stops at the bottom of the hill between the Presp and the Perelik....but if you walk an extra 2 minutes to the Snezhnanka you can guarantee a seat on the bus as it starts from there. We are going back to the Prespa Feb 24!

thanks for the advice, the hotel must be ok then. i think i booked it over the perelik as it had better food ratings. Did you find the meals ok?

We found that the food was good....except for desserts...these were a little basic. The restuarant is very popular with Bulgarians so the food is a mixture of traditional Bulgarian and fairly standard mixture of pasta/rice/potato accompmiants to fish/meat.
The restuarant manager insisted on us trying the local dishes, the Kavama was excellent! One reason for us re-booking was the food. Our kids ate so much we struggled to get them out of the restaurant. On the down side we found that the ...

On the down side we found that the beedrooms were on the small side....but as we are all so tired after a day on the slopes we usually crash out when we get back to the room.
