Listening to this this morning he was doing his usual News paper reviews where they were stating that swathes of Skiers were not going to the Alps instead they were headed to Bulgaria and this year was going to be a bumper season for them.
He also said he had been skiing there many times (didnt say which resort but I'd assume Borovets & Bansko) and he recalls the days when it was 10 lev's to the £.
So a brillient bit of advertising to nearly 10 million listeners at peak commuting time ...

Why would you 'assume' Borovets or Bansko when Pamporovo is the best resort and is also hosting an international event this season
I'm sure I saw him in the Markony last year drinking Ginger Beer!

Isnt Bansko & then Borovets more of an advanced/intermediate v Pamporovo which is a Beginner to Intermediate?I'm assuming of course.

No. Pamporovo has some excellent black runs including The Wall.You are also 'assuming' that he is a decent skier - I took this video of him last year ->

Could be good news all round.I always have to go at peak times i.e. school holidays.
Avoriaz / Les Gets / Morzine at Christmas
Courchevel at February half term
Maybe won't be so busy this year due to the swathes of skiers going to Bulgaria.

very interesting.....any one remember the chatter after Natasha Richardson died in which i very well remember Graham saying he wouldnt wear a helmet as he was that good...funny what a couple of years will do!!!! also whats with the goggles?????as for the ginger winger, best stick to cars eh!!
