Radio frequency Bulgaria restrictions

Hello, everybody.
I plan to visit Borovets 26/02 till 02/03
I want to use two portable radio transmitters (motorola),
Frequency band 430-450 MHz.
As for international regulations, this frequence band is allowed for fixed an mobile radio-amateurs communications (except some restricted area).
Does anybody Know adbout any restrictions on portable radio transmitters using in Bulgaria Question

Thanks in advance,
Yury

re: Radio frequency Bulgaria restrictions

Hi Yury,
There are no restrictions whatever, and the only interuptions you'll have are from other tourists.
We take our radios every year and find them a fantastic help.I'm familiar with your Motorola set and rest assured, you will have a terrific signal with that set.
Suggest wrapping in bubblewrap in case of hard fall.
Regards ,Seanie.

re: Radio frequency Bulgaria restrictions

Hi everybody!
I just returns from Borovets.
I use Kenwood 6118A/6188B.
THre was no any problem, and We had sufficient communication quality when I was at Marcujic up station and my wife was at villa Yagoda (approx 2 km from RILA hotel).
So 2,5 watt is sufficient power for ~430-445 MHz frequency transceivers.
Good luck
