Rain on Saturday

What's everyone's thoughts on the forecasted Rain for Saturday, will it, won't it?? If it does fall as rain, will that have much of an effect on the current snow?

Rain is only forecast at lower levels and for a short period of time, shouldnt have any effect on conditions really as more snow is forecast afterwards

Is this still the case ??????? and on top of that there is the wind!!!

According to Netweather temps will be low enough for just snow on Saturday, and then up until Wednesday they forecast approx. 1 metre of snow

Not sure it will make that much difference, seems like snow will be the winner after looking through a number of forecasts. Problem with "snow forecast" is rain is measured in millimetres and snow in centimetres.
