Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Loved Bulgaria and specially Pamporova and would like to go back for a summer hol but all the brochures seem to be full of concrete jungle type hotels on the beaches. (Sorry Pete but I really don't fancy Sunny Beach!! - can't do too much patrying with my 5 year old about)
Are there any quiet areas on the black sea coast with little coves rather than great stretches of beach. Something like Brittany or the quieter parts of Minorca would be ideal.
Bansko looks like it might be a nice place in the summer - has anyone been there?

I looked at some off the summer stuff, and agree that some of the resorts like sunny beach (a very bulgarian name!!!) look abit like Benidorm in Bulgaria!!, or would that be Costa del Bulgaria!!

A friend of mine goes to Pamporovo every summer on a kind of walking / hiking / hostel type thing and he absolutly loves it.

He also recomended Sozopol for a good beach holiday destination. He says it gets very crowded, but kind of a beach holiday with culture.
