Recommended footwear

Hi all.....

Going to Borovets in march....first time holidaying in the snow!!!!!

Can anyone give some advice on what footwear to wear when not skiing/boarding etc... ie..walking around place and apres ski??? (on the piss!)

timberlands, walking boots or trainers with good grip.... otherwise you'll be flat on your back!! No need to wear anything fancy so leave those leather Patrick Cox at home!!

Something with good grip!!! The streets are not exactly clear of snow and ice!!. I rely on good old trusty 'cats' cause theyre waterproof as well. Snowboots are a no/no. lol

Something with a good grip and a decently thick sole. Keep the feet as far from the snow/ice as possible to avoid cold feet. Waterproof is a must. Millets do a good shoe that looks like a trainer and is faily cheap too. Snow boots are a complete waste of time....

... agreed ... then you just want something light to potter around the hotel, and if you are using the pool - flip flops!

Advice has been great as always, gonna go shopping for some timberlands at the weekend!!

Anyone know how much the vodka is in borovets???

vodka is about £3. buy your timberland boots there they are cheap about £20.

Aw come on Dave I saw you last week in your designer Snow boots I thought they looked quite fetching, or was that a pair of the local cats that you had strapped on your feet.
