Refreshing pistes?

Can somebody please explain what a "refreshing piste" is??

i keep reading about the depths of the piste at Pamps. I have noticed it can vary from 20-65cm on different sites. Also the weather says different things, but then i have learned not to listen to weather forecasts in this country.

I would read that as fresh snow is continuing to raise the depths and standards of the slopes.
