First day of skiing today in borovets, we skied the Rila slopes and the long Sitnyakovo road (from the top of the new 4-man).
Snow is a bit icy but definately skiable on all pistes, but the black run to the left of the Rila is VERY icy with grassy patches appearing, all the other slopes are either covered by snow cannons or are high enough for the snow not to melt.
Hoping to get up the gondola 2moro as it was closed due to high winds today, snow is apparently excellent up there with ...

I can confirm that the snow is brill at the top of the gondola - I was up there on Thursday - only one thing though - it's quite heavyJ

There is snow around but it's not great, since there hasn't be a snowfall of any significance for almost a week now (unless it snowed today).
The upper slopes on Rila are okish in the morning but slushing up quickly. The lower slopes have plenty of bare patches and ice now.
There is still plenty of snow at the top of the gondola (skiied there pretty much every day last week) but it can be hard work since once again there is no proper powder.
I hope you get some good skiing in ...
