Reporting on location from Bansko

Hi all...

Finally made it, slight plane delay because of fog, three and a half hour flight with the same transfer, seven hours in total but no problems otherwise...
Got into resort elevenish at night, staying at the Perun, lovely hotel, friendly staff, great rooms and facilities, got unpacked, looked at the wall for a while, twiddled my thumbs, you know what is coming don`t you. Thought i would go out for a little drink, arrived at the Happy End at about one in the morning, latched on to ...

Thought i would go out for a little drink, arrived at the Happy End at about one in the morning, latched on to some local lads, well to cut a long story woke up this morning at 10.15 wrong way down the bed fully clothed (still had my boots on), rushed down to the hire place (should have met rep at 8.30) to pick up pass and some decent skis, got befriended by one of the assistants who had seen my antics the night before so ended up with great skis so all was alright apart from my head. Headed up the gondolar (its a long one and with a hangover Oooooo) to discover my winter wonderland, even started snowing for me at about 2pm, good coverage everywhere, the off-piste very heavy but i have high hopes for tomorrow, absolutely belted around on reds and blues to find my legs (i have found them and they hurt), knocked it on the head about 3.30pm as i was still feeling very delicate and went back to bed. Now about 7.00 pm here, just going for dinner, don`t think i will go out tonight (yeh right)

Note to Val, hey i pulled on the plane, well more like she pulled me, if i had woken up with my arm around that, i would have bitten it off as not to disturb her, she was a right laugh though but not my type if you get my meaning Very Happy

Anyway guys, anyone going out should be ok, a lot colder now with more snow forecast, will drop in again later....

This is steve c signing off from his location report in Bansko (now then wheres my pint???)

Hi Steve glad you got there OK. You see you will overdo these things. You don't have to cram a week's drinking all into the first night. No sympathies for your sore head all self inflicted!!!!!

As for pulling on the plane well what can I say. Must have done wonders for your ego.......................

So long honey. Have a great week. Don't forget those Booze Booze Booze for me.
