Hi all,I will be coming back to borovets for the first time in around 5 years had a brilliant holiday last time i came just wondering what the best places to go out are these days. Is the alpina still going?
Also are the snow conditions traditionally ok in the early months of january? I understand most of the runs have snow cannons these days

Unfortunately Alpina closed 3 seasons ago so that is not an option. Whilst we now run a place in Borovets and we don't get to go to many places but we also recommend Green King (more for great Bulgarian food than party!), Black Tiger is still great, Titanic (always fab food and atmosphere), Mamacitas (good band and food), Franco's (not our favourite due to smoking, but always a great night and Mark the barman is still there). Loads of other places are good as well, just not where we ...

Last year the snow was unbelievable for about 5 months - who knows this season....!

Ermmmm......... if you intend returning on the date you've stated, then you're about 7 months too late!

Pete,Don't knock it. The snow is going to be brillant and then in the summer we have the olympics to look forward to.

Haha typo- it is in fact as you guessed 2013I think we could have about 15 attempts at the euros and we still wouldnt win a thing we are useless
Few of our group are hiring equipment where is the best place to hire from while we are there.
Also where is the cheapest place to get lift passes from and how much are they on average

If you are booking a package holiday the lift pass is normally cheaper if you book through them. If you find a post with Kas & Bobbys name on it highlited in blue and click on it to email them im sure they will reply to tell you where the best deals are.dbut
