Rila - Borovets

Steve here. Just booked my si holiday for the 5th Feb, for 1 week, staying at the Rila hotel in Borovets.

I was debating going end of Jan, but some poeple i have spoken said that the snow seems to be best end of feb, beginning of March. Hope they're right as it's booked now!

Anyone else stayed at the Rila and can tell me what to expect there?

Time to sit back, relax and wait for the snow to fall Booze

re: Rila - Borovets

Hi Steve, we are regulars at the Rila and love staying there. Its a really good hotel with a lovely big lobby bar which is always thriving and has good atmosphere. The pool is clean and cant complain about it although, watch out as it is very very slippery around the sides. There are plenty of shops in the hotel and there is also an internet room. The food isnt so good but is acceptable. There are plenty of good restaurants outside the hotel and it is extremely cheap to eat out at nite. ...

re: Rila - Borovets

have stayed at rila a few times and going back in feb. very comfortable, perfect location, great views from balconies (make sure you request a room facing slopes) breakfasts are good, evening meals okay, we always found something to eat but its cheap enough to eat out if you prefer. We love it and wouldn't try anywhere else. Have a great time.

re: Rila - Borovets

Same flight as myself I think, it can take about 1 1/2 hours to get to Boro.
