Scouseeater,

We too are just back from a brilliant week in Boro... Have to totally contradict you on the White Magic! Christo is absolutely lovely and we spent most of our post-ski swifties in the White Magic... The only time he gets a bit arsey is when the poor guy is totally knackered having skied for 6 hours giving private lessons and then comes straight down off the mountain to cater for us roudy holiday makers! Christo helped to make our holiday and even came out for a day to video ...

I am beginning to notice a theme here... it looks like the boarders didn't like the White Magic... There might be something in that!!!!

re: Rila / Albena

We used the Albena Ski School last year as we travelled independantly. We also got a good price but we did book before we travelled - but Val didn't actually get us to pay anything until we got there.

They are also used by the Inghams Kindergarten which is how we first made contact.

Would highly recommend but make sure you book first to ensure the good prices.

re: Rila / Albena

hey sorry we didnt catch up with you on the first night - ended up in Francos! We have to agree about the guy in White Magic - he's only friendly if its the beginning of the week or if he already knows you - we went in on Thursday and he didn't even speak to us unlike every other barman we met. Had an excellent time though, especially playing darts at 4am in Funky's on the last night. Shame the snow started at the end of the week but at least we had the sunshine!
