I am off to Borovets on the 19th Feb with wife and 1 year old daughter (who we are putting in the creche during the day if anyone has got experience with creche / nannys can you let me know what they are like ).
How far is the Rila from the Gondola? I'm sure I read somewhere that it is only about 200m but can't remember where I read it.
There are also the Chairs in front of the Rila you can get on about 100mtrs. The gondola is about 600mtrs or so perhaps more. When it's busy mainly 9-10am just as easy to use rila slopes till queues die down. Depending on how good a skier you are. Some great runs from there!!

I shouldn't think that your will be leaving the resort so nothing is further than a few metres away. When my sone was two, we purchased a small sledge and put him on that. We are out same week as you.
