While I sit and watch the "white stuff" debate with fingers and legs crossed (just like my skiing) my wife would like to know if the Rila Hotel supplies hand and bath towels

We stayed at the Rila last year and couldn't fault it. The rooms were immaculately kept and we felt that VFM was very good.
Hope you enjoy it there, everything you need is right on your doorstep.
We read a lot of bad reviews before we went but didn't have one bad experience, mind you, some people go on holiday to find something to moan about don't they?

Desert: Cake, fruit, trifle, ...
We didn't have a proble with the food, it's not all hot dogs and chips which is what I think bothered some people. Generally it was a choice of:

I can't remember all on offer during the evenings as it changed daily but breaky was the same all week. People were complaining about the dinners but we (including our two boys) never had a problem, the stuffed peppers were well worth a try! Sometimes the food wasn't as hot as we have it in the UK but that's the norm in Eastern Europe, there were microwaves to heat it up though if you liked your food a little hotter.
If you do fancy a change from the hotel food there's plenty on offer at good prices right outside the hotel, I would paerticularly recommend the Black Cat.
Hope you enjoy all that the Rila and Boro have to offer, we all did but my wife is one for trying something new each year so we're off to Serbia this time around, I wouldn't have hesitated in going back here though.
