Afternoon all,

Has anyone stayed at the hotel Rila?

I'm going on the 19th Jan for a week and im excited already... Bring on more snow Very Happy

I will be there on the 26th for my first visit to Bulgaria with some mates and staying here.

Read differing comments and would also like the low down from you chaps.

Hi Big Al, we were at the Rila last Feb, will be there again at xmas and again in Feb 08!!! enuff said???? You will love it, the food isnt up to much but its cheap enough to eat out so no probs.

Stayed at the Rila last year. Nice hotel, bit of a queue on 1st day for ski equipment. Cold swimming pool, but lovely warm jacuzzi. Very central to main area. Good choice of food, although luke warm. You will love it Booze Booze

We avoided the equipment queue by going out of the hotel to hire on the slope facing the hotel entrance, all sorted in about 10 -15 mins.
