Could anyone tell me where the rocks are showing through the snow? Are they on green, blue, red or black runs as there are mixed reports and a group of us are going on the 11th March.
Skiid all the mountain last week and there were only odd patches that used to get a bit bare on some runs by the end of the day but these were normally repaired by the morning. My advice is to be on the slopes early . This way you always get the best conditions. Some slopes never showed any rocksand the green run was OK all day.
The snow road can be a problem but if you are carefull it is ok.
It's changing on a daily basis due to the very high temps. I noticed a few rocks coming through on the blue 5 and 10 at the end of last week, with some muddy looking snow on some of the steep bits - showing that it's getting a bit thin. The upper reds weren't bad, but very bumpy, which may cause problems if you're a boarder. I wouldn't go off-piste if I were you... even if it's only slightly. One thing's for sure, it's melting fast!
