Hi Everyone... We are bringing our 4 Year Grandson Lucas... I want him to be part of the 26 Jan Invasion... This is the first time we have brought a child so young... I need help and advice... at the evening we have no problem but during the day I dont want to leave him in a non ski kinderden...
Will I be able to hire equipment... Will I be able to get him basic lessons... Will he need a lift pass...

I think Bobby's Bar is running a daytime kindergarten. not sure if skiing is on the agenda for the little ones, but if so this could be a terrific opportunity to have a double agent in situ for the duration of the invasion.

Alex who has just turned 1 is booked in with Kas's day care. Don't know if it includes skiing or not, either way I think Alex is a tad too young! Not sure if the kindergarten at the Rita offer a kinderski service either?

But I found, get a good private Instructor tried it both way with my 2 at 3 and again 4 yrs old. Found they did not have the staminer or the want to ski for more than 1 hrs at a time and probley want to be fussed over by grandad. We always then booked just before lunch and so got

Play time in the snow mornings (somtimes ski, most park, snow man, bum boarding, then 1 hrs free ski(when they had their lesson) 20 mins ski toghter (more when they wanted) to show how got on after. then lunch after lunch Non Ski Kindergarden for 2 hrs. So got only 3 hrs ski per day (if your lucky) but Seemed a good blance of keeping the kids enjoying skiing and us not feeling guilty. Now they are 7 & 10 we ski together most of the time and throw in a couple private lessons and ask to conertraite on their tenical bits. Hope have been of help PS. Not telling you how to do it, just how we did it.
