Route from Pamporovo to Bansko

Hi,
Doing the rounds in March, Sofia-Borovets-Plovdiv-Pamporovo-Bansko. Pretty much sorted with all the routes except Pamps to Bansko. Looking at the map there are only the minor roads going directly across to Bansko. I know from experience what these roads are like (they are very bad)so would it be best to go back up to Plovdiv and take the better roads from there to Bansko? Roads seem to be springing up all over so was wondering if there is a route I dont know about, Hope someone can ...

re: Route from Pamporovo to Bansko
We did the reverse trip - Bansko to Pamporovo last year and followed the boarder road between Bulgaria and Greece. Took us just over 2 hours and the road was fine. I didn't drive so not sure of the exact route but all roads were of a good standard.Pete
