Rustington Conditions - 14 Jan 2013

First snow of the season here and already we are seeing massive accumulations of around 2cm on the Turkish Seating Area roof.

Runs are already possible from one end of the wooden deck to the other with the added benefit that the Russians are all off their holidays so there are little or no queues at the moment.

It's continuing to snow heavily which will hopefully refresh the areas that have already been chewed up by Theakston the puppy going mental in the garden.

Conditions continue ...

Conditions continue to improve and are likely to reach snowman making levels in the next hour.

I'll keep you posted and look forward to seeing anyone who wants to spend an hour in the resort to Jezza's Bar.

Jez,
You have finally joined my club and lost it. Knew this yesterday when you started talking about taking up snowboarding (mid life crisses, buy a convertable sports car!). Very Happy

re: Rustington Conditions - 14 Jan 2013

Sad to say the earlier heavy snowfall has stopped and conditions are now deteriorating across the resort. Adequate coverage can still be found on the deck, trampoline, table and at higher levels but at low level grass, rocks and the odd poo are becoming visible.

Still time to enjoy a wee dram at the bar however...

Done the sports car thingy when it was cool to do so (late 20's). Then did bikes.

Bikes are best. By far. No argument.

Snowing heavy in Derbyshire,

Hi Mad Mick, Just wondering if I am going to get home, as do have convertable sports car, hope I am having a mid life crisis, as I am 62 this month, that means I will live to be 124, but will have to stop skiing at about 120, might tale up boarding then as it is easier !!!!

Hi Jez,

Bikes as well, do up classic bikes, used to mechanic for a road racer friend, go to lots of shows and race meets still.

How much are lift passes in Rustington, and is the food warmer than Pamporovo Wink

re: Rustington Conditions - 14 Jan 2013

Lift passes were £1.00 a day but with the deterioration in conditions we are offering free passes for the rest of day.

The food is piping hot.
