Ryanair and Helmets

Hi all, i know this has been asked before but would you reckon a helmet can only be put in hold luggage on a Ryanair flight?

(i.e. not in hand luggage or on heads!!)

Same goes for boots too (apart from the head option)

Just want to avoid a 5am argument at Stansted!!

Last winter I saw several people with helmets strapped to the outside of a ruck sack boarding at Stansted and they didnt have any problems.

Have to say this is Ryan air and if they can get extra Euros from you they will...

hi, im going with ryanair 29th, dont know about helmets but i'm putting my boots in my hold luggage (15kg) and the clothes that dont fit in my hand luggage(10kg).
