CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF MY SKI BOOTS HAVE TO BE PRE-BOOKED ONTO FLIGHT OR CAN THEY GO ON AS PART OF MY LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE (20KG)

They go as part of your luggage allowance - but beware, they weigh about 6kg normally

They are too heavy for hand luggage - the max limit for hand luggage is 5kg - and would you want a pair of ski boots fall out an overhead locker onto your head...

I would take them as hand luggage. I wouldn't really want anything falling out of the overhead locker onto my head. I'm going to risk it. Weighs 7Kg. Already got enough luggage.
