SKI JUMP IN BORO

I always used to enjoy finishing of the week with a good old go at the ski jump that is used for the Wednesday ski display.
It always seems closed off recently.
Does anybody know why

Yes give it another couple of years and I guess all the black runs will be closed off too. Only when skiing is sanitised just like everything else these days, will we realise what we've lost.

Hi we also liked to use this jump, we have for the past few years always have, our instructor is the ski school manager and opened the jump for us especially, however he stated that it is now closed as there have been a few serious injuries and for insurance reasons it is now closed except for instructors. However there is another jump up by the fast speed 4 man chair near the gondola, which is nearly as good, it is by the cafe a the top of the olympic run.

Sounds good i will have to look for it. My aim is to do a jump backwards

You can still do the edge of the jump if you time it right.Not sure about backwards though
