If there is snow at either which one would you recommend going to? I know there are only a couple of runs at each but im thinking about the best to get access to.
They were trying to make the best of clearing the access road up to Swinhope today - they had over a foot of snow on Monday which (as long as temps stay low) should last until the weekend. I have skied both and can honestly say that the volunteers have worked wonders in offering cracking facilities with all things considered. My advice - just check the webcams and call the club lines before setting off - Enjoy!!!
Thanks for the tip, had a fantastic two days up there .Skied Yad Moss sat due to the limited road access to swinhope as we had no snow chains and there was no parking left in the village. You need to get there early. Yad Moss bit windy but fantastic, very close to the road, conditions were really good. Swinhope today def a bigger ski area and plenty of places to ski. Had a great time for £15 for the day would go back again well worth it. They work hard to keep the area in good condition ...
