SKIING or BOARDING??

Going to Pamporovo early March...already a competent skier..should I try boarding? Going with a mixed group..mixed ability, some skiing, some boarding...but heard use different slopes...is this true?

i went to pamps last year. i skied but my mate boarded and really struggled. lots of flats and not much deep snow to get board into. they wont go back to pamps because of it

Board go on try it!

I've boarded in Pamps for 3 years and never had major problems. Yes, there are flat areas but nothing that would put me off. Besides, if you do try it and don't like it, you can alwyas swap the board for some skis! Very Happy

re: SKIING or BOARDING??

Skis beat board in my opinion but i guess it's down to personal taste. Much more freedom with skis.

re: SKIING or BOARDING??

Im 34 and skied since i was 14.i tried boarding last year and thought it was much easier to learn.instead of trying to control 2 skis and getting them crossed,on a board your feet are stuck in one place so you just need to focus on your body position..plus it looks cooler!!!

re: SKIING or BOARDING??

When i tried it i thought it was much more difficult. Mainly because it's not a natural position to stand. Making you look "cool" is the only reason i can see that people would do it over skis.

Have a great time whatever you choose to do Razz
P.s. Caro just bought some blades so she has a second choice of muscles to wear out lol Cool

re: SKIING or BOARDING??

DearDear,

Think the slope's will empty once you appear on the snow, stick to the indoors, or stay off the moors!!!!!
