Look out for late deals, last year a lot of people at the my hotel only paid £200 for a week inc ski hire/passes. So there are some deals out there, just gotta look.
We booked thru thomson late deals on T'internet and in the words of Peter Kay, "booked, packed it, f**ked off". We got a week in Pamporovo (cool place), icluding flights, accomodation in the very comfortable (if not palatial) Perelik, and the learn to ride pack (includes lift pass, hire of boots, board and bindings, and 6*3hour lessons) for 350quid or so each. Beer is a giveaway (80-90p per pint, and its *very* drinkable), food is dead cheap, but the White Hart has gone *sob*, (they served ...

Its more orientated towards beginners than some of the French/Italian/Austrian resorts, which is good, as people in Pamps dont generally have their heads stuck up their arses.
Go in late Jan/Feb for best snow. It can get a little icy in March (same as most places tho).
