SKYPE

Does anyone know anything about this 'free' service? Evidently you can call other Skypes in Bulgaria for free. Sounds too good to be true or am I being cynical?
I don't want to suddenly get a huge phone bill but if no hidden catches, it will be brilliant to get instant weather forecasts from someone watching Bulgarian weather forecasts.

re: SKYPE

Skype to Skype calls are free.

Skype to a landline phone (according to web site) are:

4.5p per min to Bulgaria generally
2.1p per min to Sofia
17.4p per min to Bulgarian mobiles.

I have used Skype to keep in touch with family on business trips and it works very well.
Very Happy

re: SKYPE

Thanks everyone. Put my mind at rest. Won't be using the webcam facility though - could be a shock to some first thing in morning!!

After 19 years of visiting Bulgaria, we have made many friends and have decided (at last) to buy in Samokov, so Skype will be brilliant. Very Happy Very Happy
