SLOPE OPEN TIMES

hi it will be my 1st time in borovets on the 17th jan

what time do the slope normally open in the mornings

and can anyone recommend good places to eat and drink were staying at the rila

If it's anything like Pamps you can usually ski from about 9.

Not been to Boro but you'll have a fab time i'm sure

Check out the Alpina bar, near the Flora hotel (head down the hill towards the gondola, you'll see where I mean when you get there or ask someone to point you in the right direction) or Mamacitas for fab mexican food, personal favourite of mine. Quite a few places at the bottom of the slopes near the Rila, Black Cat is good for pizzas if it's still there. Think there's a few other posts on restaurants/bars on here with loads of recommendations. Have a great time, we're there in Feb.

Lifts and Gondola running by 9.00am if you want to beat the cues at the gondola be there around 9.00 am its nice up the top and making the first tracks before everyone else gets up there.
