Bansko Expects 200,000 Tourists

Hotel keepers claim that around 40-60% of the beds in the resort will be occupied during the summer. “Our aim is to promote Bankso as an all-year resort. People should come here all year long and not only during the winter,” say hotel keepers.

My friends have just come back from Bansko this weekend and they say the buildings are going up faster than you can imagine, and there is a brill golf course being built - so reckon if the Golf Course is as good as they say it will fast become an all year round resort (know people do go there now in the Summer - but with the golf course and spas etc.... it will attract a much wider clientel).....and.... the prices per square metre have risen substantially since Jan to now....
The Golf Course near Bansko
The Golf course near Bansko, called Pirin Golf and Country Club is designed by Ian Woosnam and experts say it is going to be the best golf course in Bulgaria.They working very hard and it is going ahead as planned. I visited the site few days ago.

If your wife is on a viewing trip make sure that she breaks off at some point and walks down Pirin Street to the old town. The agents sometimes forget that you want to experience Bansko as well as the property developments.
