SN: Bansko warning!

Hurricane Rages in Bansko
The seven ski runs in Bansko winter resort, southwestern Bulgaria, were deserted because of a hurricane that raged in the beautiful mountain town. The speed of the wind reached 25 meters per second under Todorka peak (2748m).
Sources from the Mountain Rescue Service in the town warned that serious avalanche dangers existed and that the skiers should stick to the outlined ski routes.

Maak dat je weg komt, over twee dagen :-), met jouw griezelverhalen.
Ik word toch niet bang. Over ruim een week is het stralend weer in Bansko.

re: SN: Bansko warning!

Technicaly a hurricane has wind speeds greater than 74 miles per hour, according to the Beaufort scale, so this was not a hurricane (25m/s = 56mph).

Ed, Whether the wind speed was 74mph or 56 mph, after 20 mins on the Gondola you would probably be saying "hello" to your breakfast again. Mal
