Freezing Cold in Bulgaria Takes Death Toll

Freezing cold in Bulgaria took the lives of two men in Varna, northeastern Bulgaria, and of a woman in Sofia yesterday. Thus, the toll of the unbearably low temperatures reached four; a man froze to death in Rousse, northern Bulgaria the day before yesterday. Yesterday temperatures in Bulgaria ranged between minus 24 and minus 10 centigrade.

The cold spell is expected to last until the end of the week.
