Ski Runs Await Skiers
Forty-three ski runs await the skiers for Christmas. The only resort where all the facilities are functioning is Bansko. There are 17 ski runs there (around 65 km).
"We urge skiers to make injury and life insurance before heading for the mountains," advised Ivan Obreakov who is in charge of the ski facilities in Bansko. If you are not insured and something happens to you, you will have to pay for all the services rendered during the rescue operation.

Fourteen of the 18 ski runs are operational in Bulgaria's oldest ski resort, Borovets.
The 11 ski runs in Pamporovo are in excellent condition.
The lifts on the Vitosha Mountain will work during the holidays, announced the municipality of Sofia. The gondola lifts will work non-stop from today until January 2.
