WEATHER - Tuesday, 20 December 2005The clouds over Bulgaria will start breaking during the day. In the far southeastern regions of the country the people may enjoy clear winter skies. Gentle to moderate wind will be blowing from the southwest. The lows will be -8 to -3 °C and the highs will be about 3 °C. In Sofia, the lowest expected temperature is -7 and the highest -2 °C.

Snowfalls are possible on December 21 and December 23, but on Christmas and the day after it the weather will be sunny rather than cloudy.

Of course. The snow cover in the mountain resorts will be thick enough.
- What will be the weather in January?
It's a bit early for concrete forecasts. The tendencies show that the temperatures will be a bit lower than the ones in December. The rainfalls will be more prolific than normal.

Are you talking about the ski resorts or Bulgaria generally? It wouldn't be very nice to see rain when you wake up and get ready for skiing all day long...
