CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT IT IS LIKE IN BANSKO IN THE SUMMER AS I WOULD LIKE TO GO THERE INSTEAD OF THE BEACH BEEN TO SUNNY BEACH GOLDEN SANDS ALBENA AND DUNI SO WOULD LIKE A CHANGEre: SUMMER

I ve been to Bansko during the summers.
It is very relaxed there.
There is not a whole lot to do in Bansko itself. Plenty of hill walking and hiking. If you are staying in an apartment you can avail of all the facilities of the major hotels in terms of swimming pools etc and spa facilities. I loved doing whatever I had to do early in the day and then head over to the strazite hotel and lounge by their pool for a couple of hours in the afternoon when you can sunbathe looking up at he ...

I would recommend hiring a car in the summer. The gondola generaly wont be operational to get you into the mountains. You can also get to visit the surrounding countryside which can be spectacularly beautiful. Its a great place to go to relax and chill out during the summer and for the past 3-4 years i ve always tried to get out for a week during this period
