Salomon Skis

Anyone know what "Salomon Legendary force 9's" are like? i have bought a pair from eby with salomon binding? any comments would be nice so i can know what i have spend on!!! cheers

Cant answer you there Jamie but if you know of anyone looking to buy a pair of Head Ski Boots (fits UK Size 4) just let me know.

Hi Jamie..
If you mean the Salomon Force 9 it is a beginner/intermediate standard ski (not carver). Should be a good introduction as it is claimed to be very stable in most piste conditions at moderate speed. If you are at a level of improving intermediate then it should be of a length of approximately head height. Have the bindings been set for your boots?? get your local ski shop to check, pay special attention to the boot centre in relation to the ski centre...

Cheers Steve. I only Paid £20.00 for them from e-bay which i thought was rather good. have not received them yet - will get the bindings set when i do!

A lot of hire shops stock Salomons, so you can presume they are ok and fairly robust

For what it's worth, I skied with Salomon carvers a month ago and found them fine.

Result mate, tell you what, great ski for progressing at home, get the use out of them at your local dry/snow slope, for £20.00 you can`t go wrong. see if you can move on to carvers in the coming seasons, a bit more work but the rewards are ten fold......
